(Mohammed Bin Awad Bin Laden and his children)

  • Osama Bin Laden was the 17th child of an estimated 58 children from his father, Mohammed Bin Awad Bin Laden.

  • Mohammed Bin Awad Bin Laden was originally from Yemen, but made a name for himself in Saudi Arabia by under-bidding other Saudi construction companies in order to build public works for the Saudi royal family. He did this regardless of profit margins, as he simply wanted to be known as the most cost-effective construction option for the Saudis. This strategy proved effective when the Saudi economy boomed in the 70’s and 80’s, the Bin Laden family became the preeminent builders in all of the Middle East.
  • While most of Osama’s education was western-style in Saudi Arabia, he did attend a Quaker school in Lebanon for a year.
  • In 1979, Bin laden went to Afghanistan to support the jihadist movement against the Soviet Invasion. This was his introduction to the Jihadi world.
  • The CIA gave over a billion dollars to Jihadi movements in the 1980’s to support their defense against Soviet occupation. It has been determined that much of this money, along with a plethora of US weaponry, was acquired by Bin Laden’s army.
  • Bin Laden has been married five times and fathered approximately 24 children.
  • After his father passed, Bin Laden was left with over $30 million dollars that he used to finance Al Qaeda, which he co-founded in 1988.
  • Saudi Arabia and the United States entered into an agreement in 1991, which funded various groups in the Middle East in 1991. This agreement wound up giving $400 million to a group which would later become known as the Taliban.
  • A Sudanese writer who was also a sex slave to Bin Laden in the 1990’s, once described his obsession with Whitney Houston. She described that he regularly spoke about Whitney Houston, and fantasized about marrying her and killing her husband, Bobby Brown.

  • During Bill Clinton’s presidency, the US attacked an Al Qaeda convoy led by Bin Laden. A vehicle was destroyed, just not the one Bin Laden Was in.
  • Bin Laden knew that the U.S. could not be destroyed militarily- so his strategy was to systematically destroy the U.S. economy by dragging the nation into unnecessary conflicts across the globe. He believed this would bring the U.S. Into Bankruptcy. Although while not completely fulfilled- his gameplan has remained quite prophetic to this day.
  • Bin Laden loved western movies- which many believe also explains his infatuation with horses. Inspired by westerners, he would also frequently wear cowboy hats at his Abbottabad compound.
  • Bin Laden was 6’6″ but only weighed 160 pounds.
  • Osama stated in 2004 that his motivation for the 9/11 attacks was American support for the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982.
  • Upon a raid of his Abbottabad house,  a porn collection discovered in the compound was described as ‘extensive’. Apparently Bin Laden not only was a big proponent of the adult film industry, but was infatuated with a particular Pornstar named Sunny Leone. It is rumored that his collection revolved solely around all of her films.

  • A large majority of Bin Laden’s kids and extended family live in the U.S.- including his niece Wafah Dufour- who enjoys attending runway shows in TriBeCa.

  • Today, Saudi Bin Laden group remains today as the single largest construction company in the world. They recently signed a contract for $1.23 billion to construct Jeddah Tower, which will soon become the largest building the the world.
